As New South Wales’ largest infrastructure project in over 100 years, the recently opened Sydney Metro Network is providing a new level of connection to residents. As one of the six new stations that along the Sydney City Metro and Southwest line that opened in August 2024, the Crows Nest Metro station has opened up a world of convenience, placing Crows Nest just seven minutes from the CBD and four minutes from Chatswood. Along with making Crows Nest more accessible, the new metro station has brought a number of upgrades to the local area, including improved pedestrian crossings, increased pedestrian capacity, bike parking and bidirectional cycle links, creating the opportunity for locals to live a more active lifestyle.
